Carers Rights Day 2021
Thursday 25 November is Carers Rights Day, which aims to bring organisations together to help carers know their rights and learn more about the help and support they’re entitled to.
This year’s Carers Rights Day campaign will focus on raising awareness of the rights that unpaid carers have. The pandemic has had a massive impact on the lives of carers, affecting access to services, the ability to juggle work and care and much more. That’s why it’s more important than ever that carers are aware of what they have the right to.
Did you know that there is a Carers Act which enhances the rights of carers in Scotland, and that carers can also be entitled to Self-directed Support (SDS)?
To support the day, we’ve released some free tickets to our upcoming training session focusing on Self-directed Support (SDS) and carers. Learn more here.
