Consultation on funding for independent support sector

Inspiring Scotland is looking for your thoughts on the priorities for funding within the independent support sector.

Through their consultation, they aim to gather views on SiRD and the funding of independent support and identify any gaps in provision.

New funding for independent support, subject to decisions by Scottish Ministers later this year, will not be announced during the consultation. However, share your views on the priorities for future funding before Friday 28 May 2021 at 5pm. so that any potential new SiRD programme could be put in place for April 2022.

Views are welcomed from:

• independent support and advocacy organisations,
• carers’ centres,
• health and social care partnerships,
• other national partners and stakeholders,
• any other groups with an interest in how funding is designed for independent support and advocacy.
