Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, a Handy Guide for Enrolled Bodies

A really handy Guide for Enrolled Bodies has been produced by Disclosure Scotland and Volunteer Scotland. The guide has been created to help people understand how the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will work in practice, by:

• Identifying the Key Changes that the Act creates
• The difference in the new Disclosure Levels
• What content will be included in each Level of Disclosure

The Guide also highlights that the changes that will occur do not come into effect immediately – there will be a period of implementation where Disclosure Scotland develop their processes and for
organisations to prepare for their new responsibilities.

They also highlight other relevant pieces of legislation as well as how you can keep up to date with any further developments.
