National Care Service national forum details published
The Scottish Government have published details of this year’s National Care Service national forum, which will be in Glasgow (and online) on Monday 30 October.
The annual National Forum was first held in Perth last year. It is an opportunity for people who access social care support, the social care workforce, carers and unpaid carers to share their thoughts about the National Care Service.
The Scottish Government say they want to talk about “what the National Care Service is all about, why it matters so much we make it happen together, and how we will do that. Everyone has a role to play in the set-up of a National Care Service and this event is open to everyone with experience or views they’d like to share on social care support and community healthcare.”
Event details
The event will take place at the Glasgow Science Centre. The Scottish Government have said they will cover agreed costs for travel, accommodation and replacement care to enable members of the public with lived experience to attend. Travel and accommodation can also be booked for you. They can also provide accessibility support.
