Self Directed Support Scotland (SDSS)

The forum for Disabled People's Self Directed Support Organisations Scotland wide, working together to promote better and effective outcomes for all.

SDSS is an umbrella organisation of Disabled People’s Organisations and as a membership organisation, SDSS has a wealth of experience and knowledge of Personalisation, Self Directed Support and its related tools, such as Direct Payments, to call upon.

'Strengthening the leadership, empowering the grass-roots membership and giving equal status to these social groups and movements is the only effective way to achieve real social development. It is here that the experiences and perspectives of disabled people and their organisations are so important - not just for disabled people.'
Rachel Hurst, Director and co-founder of Disability Awareness in Action (DAA)
