What is Getting It Right For Everyone (GIRFE) and how will it work?

This workshop will explore what GIRFE means for adult services, how this could change the delivery of SDS and how to use the GIRFE toolkit

GIRFE is Scotland’s most recent approach to designing and delivering public services for young people and adults. This workshop will explore the underlying principles of GIRFE and how this has built on the experience of using the GIRFEC approach with children and families. It will look at the GIRFE Toolkit and consider how this approach may change the way in which people’s needs are identified and support provided, whilst also meeting the expectations of the SDS legislation.
