Setting up a Disabled Person’s Organisation (DPO)

Would you like to be involved in an organisation that promotes disabled people’s rights, challenges discrimination and prejudice and supports the Independent Living movement in Scotland? Would you like your current organisation to become a Disabled Person’s Organisation (DPO), or to set up a new DPO for local people?

This session will take a step-by-step guide to setting up a DPO, looking at the challenges involved and how to gather support and maintain momentum.
