Applications open for Partners in Policymaking 2019/20.

Partners in Policymaking’ is an internationally recognised leadership development programme for parents of disabled children (up to the age of 18) and for disabled adults, including people with learning difficulties, sensory impairments and physical impairments.  The programme is a chance for participants to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to campaign and advocate for better treatment and social justice for disabled people within our society.   Participants on the programme are a mix of disabled adults and parents of disabled children. The programme is designed for people who think that life for disabled children and adults could be better and want to improve the way things are now. The 2019-20 programme will run from November 2019- June 2020, with 30 places available. Applications close on Friday 4th October.
