Communications resources for National PA Day 2026 in Scotland are now available

Self Directed Support Scotland (SDSS) is pleased to share the National Personal Assistant (PA) Day 2026 Stakeholder Communications Pack, providing ready-to-use resources to help organisations with their own communications activities, as well as supporting PA employers and Personal Assistants take part in National PA Day activity on and in the lead up to Friday 13 November 2026.

Personal Assistant Employers can directly access resources within the PA Employer handbook, while Personal Assistants can directly access resources within the PA handbook.

National PA Day is an opportunity to recognise the vital contribution Personal Assistants make to independent living, celebrate the expertise of PA employers and highlight the importance of positive working relationships between PAs and their employers.

This year’s theme, “Strengthen Our Impact”, highlights how PAs and PA employers working together can support disabled people’s choice, control and independent living. It also recognises the importance of organisations working collaboratively to improve support and opportunities for the PA workforce across Scotland.

We encourage everyone taking part to use the campaign hashtags #StrengthenOurImpact and #NationalPersonalAssistantDay to help connect activities across Scotland. Whether you are an organisation looking to raise awareness, a PA employer wanting to share your experience or a Personal Assistant celebrating your role, any contribution is welcome.
