SDS for people who use substances
As part of the SDS Improvement Plan, 2023 – 2027, we have commissioned research into the experiences of accessing Self-directed Support for people who use substances.
This work is part of our commitment to understanding barriers, and increasing access to SDS for under-represented groups. It sits alongside our work to improve access for autistic people and those living with dementia.
As part of our annual conference, SDS National Voice, held on 28 March 2024, Figure 8 consultancy delivered a workshop to gather initial feedback and experiences in this area.
